BOYS
AND GIRLS STATE PROGRAM
During the last week of May 2007 and into the first week of June, 2007, two young men from the Broken Arrow High School attended Boys State in Miami, Oklahoma. Both were in eleventh grade and will be going into the twelfth grade when school starts back up.
To the left is Clinton Gannaway. The granson of James and Jessica Gannaway. He is listed in Who's Who among High School Students. He has attended Lead America, was named April Student of the Month of BASH and is on the Mock Trial Team where he was awarded "Best Attorney. He is in the National Forensics League Chapter at BASH. His post-graduation plans are to attend Denver, Boston or Tulsa Universities, eventually earning a law degree and establishing his own law firm.
To the Left is John Lee Eccles. He is the son of Jim and Cindy Eccles. He has just completed his junior year of BASH. Eccles had recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He is a member of the Nation Champion Pride of Broken Arrow High School and is treasurer of the Senior Board at BASH. Eccles is a member of the Key Club, the BAHS leadership program and Camp Enterprise through sponsorship of the Rotary Club. He is also a member of St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow and operates his own lawn care Service in Broken Arrow.
